Entering the Sweepstakes...
What qualifies as a remodeling project?
Any home improvement project that was performed in your home, apartment or condominium by a remodeling professional qualifies to be included in the sweepstakes, no matter how small or how large.
What qualifies as a remodeling Professional?
Any professional remodeler who works for a remodeling company (or owns his own company) qualifies as a remodeling professional.
What are the prizes?
Prizes vary each month, and may include cash and/or merchandise from our sponsors. A prize will be given for each of the categories: tip, story, video, and project. We may also give "bonus" gifts to other contributions on the site, including "best question" and so on.
Where do I tell my remodeling story (how do I get there)?
- Go to you're profile page by clicking the My Remodeleze menu.
- Now find the My Toolkit section and look for the option called My Experiences. Click the Edit My Experiences link.
- Click on the tab called Remodeling Ability.
- On the right side, there are spaces for Best Experience, Worst Experience and Tips. Enter your information into the appropriate boxes and click Save.
What do you look for in a remodeling story?
Stories are judged based on their relevance to the prize category: best experiences, worst experience and tips. Stories do not have to be funny or dramatic, just relevant.
What if I rent my home or apartment?
Even if you rent, your remodeling project can qualify for the drawing, as long as you used a remodeling professional to work on the project...and can upload at least one photo of the project (before, during or after the remodel).
Can I use a remodeling project from a house I no longer live in?
If you were the primary owner or renter of the home when the project was done, then it qualifies for the drawing.
